My #10 Oath List

Since I have not been blogging recently at all, I thought I would share some fun facts about how I am doing thus far in my teenage life.

1. I got back into the habit of biting my nails. Which is a MAJOR BUMMER considering I thought I had defeated that temptation to eat my grubby fingers that touch many germy surfaces. Well...Welcome back 'no bite nail polish' p.s. your taste disturbs my tongue and taste buds.

2. I am conditioning for soccer and softball. Sure I am strong but I am not a strong runner. These next few months will be very weezy. p.s.ive never been on a team/played a sport in my lifetime.

3. I still disliken my exzema wickedly itchy dry skin.

4. I am managing A's & B's in my schooling.

5. I just measured my hair length. 18 inches!!

6. I scribe in my journal probably more than I actually live life. It has opened my love for journals to a high level of love. I can tell my journal anything and it doesnt judge me or criticize me!! Thank you journal inventor.

7. Seminary is wonderful. The students are great, my teacher teaches well and Im enjoying learning about the doctrine in D&C

8. When I am bored I dont prefer the s dimensional world of televesion..instead I paint my nails. Ever since I can remember I have always enjoyed painting my nails but ever since I got a nail polish pen for my birthday (Best Present You Could Get Someone) I have been ON FIRE. My finger nails change at Least once a week. Yes, I keep it spicy.

9. I love all my family soo much.

10. I just saw the movie You Again and I would like to give a thanks to those movie directors who create the Perfect Awkward situations that I cant help but laugh in. So thank you. I laughed soo hard.

Photography taken by thine cellular device

Let ye be warned that Rachel and I intend to take the ugliest pictures known to man. Thee are more yet to come.

This is our wedding shot:Our stake did a play and this dress was my costume. It showed my every curve, especially when emphasized:There's always going to be some man in the way of life huh? :I thought it was cool the heavens were opening up just to see ASU loose! :Rachel and I took a scene photoshoot. Not all are on here, (I thought I'd save whoever views) :This is an unproven substance. Shanna, Rahcel, and I suppose it is poo. It's location, outside the bathroom door:You can not walk past this man without posing by him:I am loved so much by Jordan, that she consumes my name:I dont think Rachel and I have laughed harder at any picture of our long friendship, than we did at this photograph taken on the way home from school:Some more after school photographs:The Lexinator could seriously take up modeling for puppy magazines:My friend Alaina and her mother made this Koi Fish cake. Lets just say it was a good enough picture to set as main wallpaper on my phone:Heart Attack preparation transportation:Hawaii. I took this from my phone but we thought it looked like one of those photos that come with a computer:Laughing days on end:Crazy Hair day I decide to give myself dreads. Lots of teasing, GALLONS of hair spray, lots of moose, lots of patience, loads og twisting, and a crunchy night's rest:Church dance. Rachel and Shanna are standing behind this chalk board the entire time. After the dance they revealed their masterpiece to worthy souls. (Of course they did not tell the viewers that the dragon was already there!!) :Halloween 2009. Alaina is on the right and I on the left. BEST COSTUMES EVAR!! On our way to a church where a dance was being held a truck of girls with the EXACT same costumes drove by yelling and honking at us cause we were all soo AWESOME!! :Ladies and gentlemen, the 80's ARE BACK!! :
For every single teenage girl out there, I want you to know that natural beauty shows within us.

The Wheels On The Bus Go Round And Round...

The common school bus rider would think of the journey from school to home through the desert with all windows down and grumpy sweaty kids, to be dreadful. No Further Shall This Be!! ..At least not with my bus. Thursday April 15, 2010. The bus is fairly open. Not all seats are full of two occupants. I, sitting in front of Rachel and AJ in the middleish section on the bus. As the door squeeks closed and the bus departs, the student talk to one another and share stories of their day and laugh like animals. I, including myself in Rachel's conversation and speaking to another friend sitting across from me, start to notice the radio station that was nothing but background music on the bus. I look at rachel because this song is..familiar to thine ears. It was Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall. Ohhhh man I flipped a lid when I knew the song. Apparently everyone else did. Rachel was the first to yell (in a man voice) "TURN IT UP" The bus driver did so.

So Let me paint this scene for you again: This is a bus full of about maybe..28 students after a long hot day in Phoenix, Arizona. This song, that generates from Students in school...It was just pure matramoney. And greatly all of the students on my bus are the kind of people that they do whatever, whenever, with a laugh. Right when the ever so famous part in the song comes on, everyone..I mean, EVERYONE from me-back shouted "Hey! Teacher! Leave those kids alone" A great and mighty chuckle was announced. All of the students that sit alone look back and start to laugh. Rachel and I really get into it with any word we know, we are now singing mightily with some hand motions of dance moves. It was remarkable I must say.

The next song on was Long Train Runnin' by The Doobie Brothers. Now I am not saying that I know the entire song, but what I know, I know. Except for when I am helpless on words so all that comes out of my mouth is sounds that are similar to those of the real lyrics. The actual words to the part of Long Train Runnin go-Without love. I hear'Talkin aout love. Therefore 'talkin about love' is whats going down!! So anyways a lot of students were just astonished about about this particular radio station with these familiar hits. I belt it with my preacher voice Talkin about loooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOve! And buses come to complete stops, the resistance lasts for a while. Being in a sporatic mood I jump up in the isle and start juming slightly a lot while moving my hands in a circular position. So I was rapidly bouncing to the very front of the bus, while singing 'Loooooooooooooooooove', and moving my arms in circular postitions. I am not sure if writing this down makes sense but if anyone would like to see a demonstration, I will gladly abide.

Most bus experiences are not appealing. But for the party on wheels I take home everyday, I enjoy every second.

Introductory

Hello I am Melanie. My favorite color(s) are red and bluegreen, not turquoise, but like the actual Crayola crayon bluegreen. I enjoy having a good time and I believe I'm good at making that happen in any situation. I try to be optimistic 24/7. I love love love my family, both mom and dad's side. My mom's side of the family is very warm hearted and hilarious to the bone, and my dad's side of the family is wildly fun, outgoing, and hard working. I like to have parties and meet new people. Education is very important to me and I try my best to go beyond average in my classes. My career options consist of Stunt Actor, and Education Administrator. If I were ever missing, the place you would most likely find me is my best friend, Rachel's house. It's always a party over there. I love each and every one of my friends and their examples to me and others.
